The Slam came and went. I worked hard and the outcome wasn’t what I had hoped for, but some good things came out of it, so I’m trying to be positive. The STACs conference came and went and was a lot of fun. Next weekend is St. Louis Serves Day, and I’ll be gardening at EarthDance, which I’m looking forward to. The Green Team is breaking ground for their organic garden and gearing up to build a chicken coop, so that’s all very exciting. Life has been rather fulfilling.
I’ve also started seeing someone. He’s a pretty great guy so far, and I enjoy spending time with him and am excited to see where things will lead. I’m at the beginning of looking for a new roommate since my current one will be moving out. I’ve begun updating my resume, which means the start of my after AmeriCorps job hunt. So this has all be rather exciting. What is not exciting is that it’s April and it was 90 degrees the past two days, but I can get through it. Hopefully.
